Riyadh University of Arts to Open Applications in May and Start Classes in September
Riyadh, March 31: Riyadh University of Arts will open applications and student registration in May 2026, while classes will begin in September, Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan announced.
Prince Bader, who is the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Riyadh University of Arts, said the new university will help build a strong future for cultural education in Saudi Arabia.
He explained that the university wants to become a top place for arts and culture learning in the Kingdom. It will give students many study choices to help them grow their skills and support Saudi Arabia’s creative and cultural sectors under Saudi Vision 2030.
Prince Bader said the opening of the university is a very important step for the Kingdom’s cultural growth. He added that it will play a big role in creative education and cultural innovation in Saudi Arabia.
The university is located in Riyadh and will welcome its first students in September. At the start, it will have four colleges: Music, Film, Theatre and Performing Arts, and Cultural Management.
These colleges will offer eight academic programs in the beginning. The university also plans to grow in the future and expand to 13 colleges.
