Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and Uganda Look to Boost Trade and Investment

Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomed Zaake Wanume Kibedi, the Ambassador of Uganda to the UAE, to discuss ways to grow trade and investment between the Emirate and Uganda.
Mohammed Musabbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Chamber, met with the Ambassador to talk about how the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry can work together. They focused on finding new business opportunities, supporting investors, and creating partnerships that benefit both sides.
During the meeting, both parties shared information about the investment advantages in Ras Al Khaimah and Uganda. They agreed on the importance of exploring new sectors, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), to strengthen economic ties.
Al Nuaimi said the Chamber always supports projects that help the private sector find profitable and useful investment opportunities in friendly countries around the world. He added that Uganda already has several business connections with Ras Al Khaimah through agreements and partnerships.
Ambassador Kibedi thanked the Chamber for the warm welcome and confirmed Uganda’s strong interest in expanding trade exchange with the Emirate. He also invited the Chamber’s members to attend the UAE–Uganda Business Forum, which will be held from October 27 to 29 in Kampala, Uganda.
The meeting took place at the Chamber’s headquarters and was attended by Youssef Mohamed Ismail, First Vice Chairman of the Chamber, and Dr. Ahmed Al Shemeili, Director-General of the Chamber.
