Rain, Cloudy Weather Expected in UAE from Wednesday to Friday
Cloudy Weather and Rain Forecast
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather update for the period between Wednesday, October 23rd, and Friday, October 25th, 2024. Residents should prepare for cloudy skies and possible rainfall, particularly in the eastern and northern regions of the country.
Wednesday: Cloudy and Rainy in the East and North
Starting Wednesday, moist easterly winds coming from the Oman Sea will affect the eastern parts of the UAE. This will lead to the development of convective clouds, particularly over the eastern and northern areas. These clouds may bring rainfall during the day.
Thursday and Friday: Wetter Days Ahead
By Thursday and Friday, a more humid air mass will move in from the Arabian Sea, combining with a weak low-pressure system in the upper atmosphere. As a result, cloud formation is expected over wider areas, especially in the east and west. Rain is likely, ranging from light to moderate, with some regions potentially experiencing heavy downpours.
Winds and Visibility Concerns
Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the southeast but may shift to northeasterly and northwesterly at times. These winds could become strong during cloud formations, leading to blowing dust and sand, which might reduce visibility in some areas.
Weather Outlook:
- Wednesday: Localized rain expected in eastern and northern areas.
- Thursday & Friday: Scattered clouds with a chance of rain, especially in eastern and western regions. Light to heavy rain possible.
Stay updated with the latest weather information and take necessary precautions during periods of heavy rainfall and reduced visibility.
