Qassim Governor Praises Saudi-Made Drones as a Big Step for Industry

Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, welcomed Riyad Al-Zamil, Chairman of the United Defense Company, along with members of the board.
During the meeting, the governor expressed his pride in the Saudi company for producing drones locally. He said this marks a big leap for the Kingdom’s industry and is a source of national pride.
Prince Faisal explained that the true success of this project is that it is built by Saudi minds and skills, not just purchased from abroad. He also stressed that building military industries inside Saudi Arabia strengthens both the nation’s defense and its economy.
He added that the Kingdom depends on its people to lead in technology, innovation, and progress, which supports Saudi Arabia’s vision for a stronger future.
