Princess Nourah University Introduces Academic Acceleration Program

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is empowering female students with a new academic acceleration system designed to expedite their educational journey. The Deanship of Admission and Registration has unveiled this innovative program for the 2024-2025 academic year, targeting secondary education female students who have gained admission to the university.

Accelerated Learning Paths

The academic acceleration system offers two distinct tracks to accommodate diverse student needs. Firstly, the program allows eligible students to bypass the foundation year altogether, enabling them to directly enroll in their chosen major’s courses. This accelerated path is designed for exceptionally bright students who possess a strong foundation in their desired field of study.

Conversely, the second track involves a comprehensive assessment process. Students undergo specialized education tests, and subsequently, based on their performance, they may bypass specific courses and advance to more advanced coursework. This approach ensures that students are challenged appropriately and progress at a pace commensurate with their abilities.

To qualify for the academic acceleration system, female students must gain admission to the university through either the engineering foundation year or the health foundation year and attain a composite score of at least 89 percent. Indeed, this rigorous selection process guarantees that only the most qualified students are granted access to these accelerated learning opportunities.
