Palmeiras First Team to Reach Club World Cup Quarter-Finals

PENNSYLVANIA: Brazil’s Palmeiras is the first team to reach the FIFA Club World Cup quarter-finals in the United States.
Palmeiras won 1-0 against Botafogo, another Brazilian team. The match was played at Lincoln Financial Field in Pennsylvania. The game was 0-0 at the end of normal time, so they played extra time.
In the 100th minute, Paulinho scored the winning goal for Palmeiras. Now, Palmeiras will play against the winner of the match between Benfica from Portugal and Chelsea from England. That match will happen later tonight.
Palmeiras fans are very happy and hope their team goes even further in the Club World Cup!
