Dubai: More than 200 teachers in Dubai have been granted Golden Visas under the direction of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council.

The Golden Visa honors teachers who play a vital role in shaping Dubai’s future. Sheikh Hamdan first announced the plan on World Teachers’ Day last year, saying that educators “light the way forward” and that supporting them is the best investment for Dubai’s future.

This initiative supports the Education 33 (E33) Strategy, which aims to attract top global talent and make Dubai a leading education hub.

In the first round, 223 out of 435 applicants received Golden Visas. They were chosen for their achievements, dedication, and positive impact on students and society. Most winners work in schools, while others are from universities and early childhood centers.

Aisha Miran, Director-General of KHDA, said the program celebrates the passion and commitment of Dubai’s teachers and helps make teaching a more rewarding career.

Applications for the next round are open from October 15 to December 15, 2025, for educators in private early childhood centers, schools, and universities across Dubai.
