Oman’s Economy Grows 2.5% in First Quarter of 2025

MUSCAT: Oman’s economy grew by 2.5% in the first three months of 2025, reaching 9.43 billion Omani rials, according to official reports.

The growth was mainly due to strong performance in non-oil sectors like tourism and manufacturing, which grew by 4.4%. However, oil production decreased slightly by 0.4%, while natural gas production increased by 9.5%.

This shows Oman’s economy is becoming more diverse and less dependent on oil. Experts say this is good news for the country’s future growth.
