Oman Flood Victims Receive Condolences From UAE Leaders

The President Sheikh Mohamed sent messages to Oman’s Sultan Haitham, offering their deepest sympathies to those who lost loved ones and wishing a speedy recovery to everyone hurt. The UAE’s Vice Presidents, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, did the same.

Oman got hammered with massive rain, causing floods everywhere. The Royal Oman Police jumped into action, rescuing children’s and families trapped in flood

Sadly, the rains kept pounding Oman, and the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority found the body of a missing person in North Al Sharqiyah. The total number of people who died is now at 19, including nine students, two residents, and one person from another country.

The UAE showing support for Oman during this tough time, to show how close these two Gulf countries really are. This whole situation is a reminder of how important it is for countries in the region to work together when disasters hit, to keep everyone safe.
