Abu Dhabi: Noatum Maritime, part of AD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster, has officially opened a new office in Shanghai, China. This new branch will help the company grow its shipping and logistics services in Asia and around the world.
Shanghai is one of the biggest trade and shipping cities in the world. By opening an office there, Noatum Maritime is taking a big step in its global expansion plan. The company already works in more than 814 ports in 118 countries, helping ship owners, operators, and managers with their cargo and vessel needs.
The new Shanghai office will support both local Chinese clients and international customers. It adds to Noatum Maritime’s strong network, which already includes 77 ports across 17 countries.
The opening ceremony was held in the heart of Shanghai and was attended by top officials, including Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Hawi from the UAE Ministry of Investment, Mansour AlMulla from ADQ, and Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, CEO of AD Ports Group.
This new office will work alongside Noatum Logistics’ existing commercial branch in the same building. This setup helps the company offer more connected and complete services to its customers.
Captain Ammar Al Shaiba, CEO of the Maritime & Shipping Cluster at AD Ports Group, said that opening the Shanghai office is a big achievement. He explained that being close to clients and understanding local markets is important to provide the best service.
This move comes after the company recently opened another international office in Beijing. Together, these two new offices show that AD Ports Group is serious about growing in China and becoming a major player in Asia’s maritime industry.
With the addition of Shanghai, AD Ports Group now has offices in over 140 locations around the world, further strengthening its global network and shipping services.
