Neymar Praises Saudi Arabia’s 2034 FIFA World Cup Bid, Calling It "One of the Best"
Riyadh: Neymar Jr., Brazilian star and forward for Al-Hilal FC, recently voiced his strong support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034. Touring the Saudi FIFA World Cup 2034 Bid Exhibition in Riyadh, Neymar shared his admiration for the Kingdom’s comprehensive planning and world-class infrastructure, describing it as “one of the best projects” he’s ever seen.
According to Neymar, Saudi Arabia’s bid offers everything needed for an exceptional World Cup. He emphasized that the proposal is designed with both players and fans in mind, ensuring a top-notch experience. “The bid prioritizes football and the players, with careful planning to avoid long travel times between matches. This means easier movement between stadiums and hotels, giving players more time to rest and perform at their best,” Neymar said.
Neymar also highlighted the Kingdom’s warm welcome and respect for global sports icons. He expressed excitement about the increasing international talent in the ROSHN Saudi League and hopes many more players will experience Saudi Arabia’s hospitality.
