London, March: Newcastle United ended a 70-year trophy drought by defeating Liverpool 2-1 in an exciting Carabao Cup final at Wembley. The victory marked a historic moment for the club and its fans.

A large crowd of Newcastle supporters witnessed Dan Burn’s key header just before halftime, which gave the Magpies a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Alexander Isak extended the advantage with a goal that delighted the Geordie faithful.
