The Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament team started to plan the 13th edition of the event. The tournament takes place every year under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. It is guided by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Ismail Sayed Al Hashemi led the meeting. Dr. Abdulhameed Al Attar, Hassan Al Mazrouei, Saleh Al Marzouqi, Issa Sharif, Khalid Al Awar, and Adel Al Bannai joined him.

The team reviewed the event schedule and the work plans for all committees. They also discussed all preparations needed for the holy month of Ramadan. This year’s tournament offers 11 sports. These include volleyball, padel, jiu-jitsu, fencing, wheelchair basketball, running, cycling, tug-of-war, obstacle course, and badminton. The popular 3×3 basketball event is also coming back.

The committee fixed the tournament dates from February 18 to March 7, 2026. All matches will take place at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. The total prize pool is AED 4.5 million. The team expects more than 8,000 athletes to join.

The organizers aim to follow a clear plan to run the event smoothly. They want the tournament to reflect its strong value in Dubai. They also hope to bring the community together through sports.

The media team will promote the event across all platforms. This will help more people learn about the activities.

The Nad Al Sheba Tournament grows every year. It is now the biggest community sports event during Ramadan. The event supports all athletes, including people with disabilities. Wheelchair basketball and cycling remain key events for them.

The main goal is to create a friendly sports space for everyone. The tournament encourages healthy habits, positive energy, and strong community bonds.
