More than 2.9 million iftar meals served at Prophet’s Mosque in first 10 days of Ramadan
Medina: In the first 10 days of Ramadan 1447 AH, more than 2.9 million iftar meals were given to worshippers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina.
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque said it worked hard to serve visitors during the holy month.
According to the authority, over 88,900 people received help through the guest service centers at the Prophet’s Mosque. These centers guide visitors, answer questions, and offer support to pilgrims coming from inside and outside the Kingdom.
More than 12,095 male and female volunteers also took part in the effort. They helped organize crowds, guide worshippers, raise awareness, and provide humanitarian support to those in need.
Ramadan is one of the busiest times of the year in Medina. Every evening, thousands gather at the mosque to break their fast together. The iftar meals are served in a calm and organized way to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe.
The authority confirmed that it will continue to provide the best services for pilgrims and visitors throughout Ramadan, making sure they can worship in peace and comfort.
