Dubai: The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has started a new plan to make its services better, faster, and easier for everyone. This is part of the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” programme, which aims to remove extra steps and complicated rules from government services.
As part of this new step, MoHAP cut the number of health services it offers from 32 to just 16. These include services like giving licenses to doctors and health clinics. The changes help save people’s time and make everything run more smoothly.
MoHAP used a new plan that focuses on the people who use these services. They made everything more simple, removed extra paperwork, and connected digital systems so that fewer apps are needed. Now, it takes less time, money, and effort to get services done.
The Ministry also worked closely with other government teams and health experts to make sure the new system really helps people. They listened to feedback from users and honored those who gave great ideas to improve the services.
This is all part of the UAE’s big goal to get rid of digital red tape and make life easier for people. MoHAP is working to create smarter, faster, and more modern services for citizens, using AI and advanced digital tools.
Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of MoHAP, said that these changes show how serious the UAE is about making high-quality services. He added that this plan supports the country’s long-term growth and keeps the UAE strong on the world stage.
He also said the Ministry is always checking how happy people are with its services and will keep improving them to be more user-friendly and effective.
Abdullah Ahli, Acting Assistant Undersecretary and leader of the Zero Bureaucracy Team at MoHAP, said that many people helped shape the new services. They held workshops and listened to customers and health experts to build better, cheaper, and faster services.
More improved services are coming soon as MoHAP continues to test and improve its plans. These changes will help even more people, support the country’s goals, and improve life for everyone in the UAE.
The second phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy programme wants to remove all digital steps that aren’t needed, reduce the number of government apps, and use technology like artificial intelligence to make services smart, easy, and fast.
