Dubai: The Ministry of Sports in the UAE held a special event called the “UX Lab” at its office in Dubai. The goal was to make it easier and faster for athletes and sports staff to get time off for sports work, called sports sabbatical services.

At the event, guests tried out the Ministry’s digital services. This helped them understand how the system works and what can be improved. People from sports federations, digital experts, and customer service teams all took part.

The Ministry wants to make its services smarter and quicker. They are working under two big projects: Government Services 2.0 and the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. These programs aim to cut down on paperwork and make government services easier for everyone.

Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajeri, the Undersecretary at the Ministry, said that the UX Lab shows how serious they are about helping customers. He said it’s important to hear from the people who actually use these services, like sports officials, so they can give ideas and feedback.

During the event, six people from different sports groups tested the online services for an hour each. They looked for ways to make things better and easier.

The Ministry wants to keep improving by listening to customers and using simple, helpful designs. Their goal is to create smooth, easy-to-use services that save time and effort.

This event is just one of many steps the Ministry is taking to support athletes and sports bodies in the UAE by offering high-quality and fast digital services.
