Ministry of Municipalities and Housing wins top award for crisis communication

Riyadh:The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has won the Sharjah Government Communication Award 2025 in the category of Best Crisis Communication Strategy.
The award was received by Saif Alswailem, the ministry’s Director of Public Relations and Media and official spokesperson. He said that this achievement shows the ministry’s strong efforts to build a reliable system for managing emergencies. The goal, he explained, is to keep communication clear, improve transparency, and strengthen public trust during times of crisis.
The Sharjah Government Communication Award is an international initiative that celebrates creativity and excellence in government communication. It recognizes the best practices of institutions that succeed in connecting with people and managing communication effectively.
This honor highlights the ministry’s commitment to innovation and its role in setting an example for crisis management and communication strategies across the region.
