Dubai: The UAE’s Ministry of Finance (MoF) has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with Ajman Free Zones Authority (AFZA). This partnership aims to improve tax information services and provide expert guidance through a new digital platform. It marks a step forward in making government services faster and more efficient in the UAE.
AI-Powered Tax Information Platform
The MoF’s new “Tax Information Exchange Projects Inquiries” platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) to answer questions on tax regulations. Businesses can access information on essential tax requirements such as the Economic Substance Regulations, the Common Reporting Standard, FATCA, and multinational enterprise (MNE) reporting. This digital platform aims to simplify tax compliance for businesses, saving them time and effort.
This partnership reflects the UAE’s commitment to cutting bureaucracy and improving services for residents and businesses. By enhancing tax advisory support, the MoF and AFZA aim to align with the UAE’s goals for efficient and high-quality government services.
Leaders Share the Benefits of the MoC
Younis Haji AlKhoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, and Ismail Al Naqi, Director-General of Ajman Free Zones Authority, signed the MoC, joined by other officials. AlKhoori noted that this collaboration with Ajman Free Zones brings the UAE closer to its vision for digital transformation. He emphasized that the MoC will simplify tax services and boost public trust in the tax system.
Focus on Customer Service
Under this agreement, the Ministry and Ajman Free Zones will work closely to respond to customer inquiries, exchange data, and update key performance metrics. This collaboration will help deliver faster, more reliable support to businesses for tax compliance.
This new partnership provides strong support for UAE businesses, ensuring a more streamlined and satisfying experience with tax services.
