Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, inaugurated the conference at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Bringing together over 100 poultry, fodder, and animal nutrition experts from 40 countries, the exhibition facilitates knowledge exchange and highlights investment opportunities. With a focus on value engineering, the event aligns with the goals of the National Food Security Strategy.
Government Support for Sector Growth
According to Al-Fadhli’s ministry, the poultry sector has received substantial support, with agricultural subsidies exceeding SR665 million. The Kingdom aims to achieve 80% self-sufficiency in poultry meat by 2025, backed by government initiatives and private sector investments.
