Liverpool beat Arsenal as Manchester City lose again

London: Liverpool are flying high in the Premier League after beating Arsenal 1-0 at Anfield. The winning goal came from a brilliant free-kick by Dominik Szoboszlai, giving the Reds their third victory in three games.

With this win, Liverpool now have nine points from three matches and sit at the top of the table. Arsenal, who also started the season strongly, are now in third place with six points.

It was a tough day for Manchester City as they lost 2-1 to Brighton. City started well when star striker Erling Haaland scored in the 34th minute. But Brighton came back stronger in the second half, scoring twice to hand City their second defeat in a row.

The results mean Liverpool continue their perfect start, Arsenal stay close behind, while Manchester City face big questions after back-to-back losses.
