Abu Dhabi: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, presented Lando Norris with the winner’s trophy for the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024. The event marked the thrilling conclusion of the F1 season finale at Yas Marina Circuit.
Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, awarded the second-place trophy to Carlos Sainz. Khalid Ben Sulayem, President of the Emirates Motorsports Organisation, presented the third-place trophy to Charles Leclerc.
In addition, Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Etihad Aviation Group, handed over the Constructors’ Championship title to Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix remains a centerpiece of the Formula 1 calendar. Yas Marina Circuit will continue hosting the F1 season finale until 2030, with the 2025 race set to be the 17th edition of this iconic event.
