Riyadh, Arab Times News: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, also known as KSrelief, has signed a new agreement to support education for children in Yemen. The project will take place in the Al Hawtah and Tuban districts in Lahij Governorate, where many families have been affected by conflict.

This new project will directly help 6,833 people and bring indirect support to around 16,000 others.

The agreement was signed through video call by Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, who works as the assistant supervisor-general for operations and programs at KSrelief.

The project will focus on helping children, especially girls, go back to school. There will be awareness campaigns to show why school is important. School bags, uniforms, and hygiene kits will be given to students. Children will also receive emotional and social support.

Teachers and volunteers will be trained in better ways to teach. Classrooms will be given learning materials, desks, chairs, sports tools, and first aid supplies. Some classrooms will also be repaired to make them more comfortable for learning.

This education project is part of Saudi Arabia’s larger effort to help children in areas affected by war. The goal is to give every child a chance to learn in a safe and healthy place.
