Riyadh: King Salman International Airport Development Company (KSIADC), part of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC). The agreement will support the development of King Salman International Airport (KSIA) and boost cooperation in infrastructure projects.

The signing took place during the Global Infrastructure Forum at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, held from 15 to 17 September under the patronage of Riyadh Region Mayor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf.

This partnership creates a framework for joint efforts to improve innovation, efficiency, and sustainability in KSIA’s development. It also aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals to strengthen the Kingdom’s aviation sector and infrastructure leadership.

James Young, Chief Delivery Officer of KSIADC, said the MoU will help advance projects to meet world-class standards and enhance Saudi Arabia’s position in global aviation.

Eng. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al Badah, Chief Executive of RIPC, stressed the center’s commitment to close cooperation with KSIADC. He explained the MoU will support knowledge sharing, innovation, and better integration across all phases of the airport’s development.

The agreement includes data exchange, joint planning, and institutional alignment. It also focuses on solving challenges, promoting best practices in project management, and advancing sustainability according to environmental standards.
