King Khalid University Tops National Digital Education Index in Saudi Arabia
King Khalid University ranked first in the National Digital Education Index in Saudi Arabia, marking a major achievement for the education sector in the Kingdom.
The result was announced during the Digital Learning Forum 2025, which was held in Riyadh and organized by the National eLearning Center. The forum brought together education leaders to review progress in digital learning and online education.
King Khalid University earned the top position among all universities and training institutions across Saudi Arabia. The ranking shows how well institutions use digital tools and online systems to support learning.
Dr. Adel Al-Surai’i, Vice Dean of Electronic Services for E-Learning, said the first-place ranking reflects the university’s strong focus on e-learning and digital development. He explained that the university continues to improve online education systems and use modern technology to make learning easier and better for students.
The achievement also supports Saudi Arabia’s national goals for digital transformation in education and follows global best practices in online and blended learning.
The Digital Learning Forum 2025 took place in Riyadh and highlighted successful digital education models from across the Kingdom.
