The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) hosted a graduation ceremony for 46 deep-tech startups under the KACST Venture Program (KVP) on Wednesday. The event took place at “The Garage” and was supported by the National Technology Development Program (NTDP).
The ceremony brought together KACST President Dr. Munir bin Mahmoud El-Desouki, senior officials, researchers, innovation leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors.
Supporting Innovation and Economic Growth
Dr. Khalid Bin Abdelrahman Al-Dukkan, Supreme Vice President of KACST’s Innovation Sector, highlighted the institution’s strategic efforts to enhance research, development, and innovation in the Kingdom. He emphasized that KACST focuses on connecting startups with government agencies, private sectors, and investors to help innovative ideas and projects evolve into market-ready products and services.
These efforts aim to drive economic growth and foster technological advancements in Saudi Arabia.
