Hamdan bin Zayed visits Al Dhafra Date Festival

Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra, visited the 4th Al Dhafra Date Festival and Auction. The event was organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
Sheikh Hamdan praised the festival for helping farmers and date makers improve their products and support food security in the UAE. He also looked at how the festival is helping to promote Emirati dates and honey both locally and around the world.
During his visit, Sheikh Hamdan toured different booths that showed new ways of growing palm trees and producing dates. He was joined by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Obaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, and other officials.
The festival aims to keep the UAE’s heritage alive, support farmers, and celebrate the country’s love for dates.
