Johannesburg: The G20 Startup20 Summit has wrapped up in Johannesburg, South Africa, with a strong team from Saudi Arabia taking part. The Saudi group was led by Prince Fahd bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, who heads the G20 Startup team.

The event was sponsored by NEOM and brought together people from governments, businesses, and non-profit groups who work in startups and new ideas.

Saudi Arabia joined the summit to show its growing role in the G20 and to help build strong links with other countries. During the summit, Saudi officials signed important agreements and talked about working together to support startup companies around the world.

The Saudi team shared many successful projects and programs that help young people start their own businesses. Their pavilion was very popular, attracting investors and visitors from many countries who wanted to learn more about Saudi Arabia’s fast-growing startup scene.

A big win came when a Saudi company named Netzero took first place in the Sustainability and Environmental Technology category at the Startup20 Awards. This shows that Saudi startups are creating smart green solutions and can compete with the best companies in the world.

At the end of the summit, Prince Fahd bin Mansour said that Saudi Arabia is working hard to support new ideas and creative young people. He explained that this progress helps the country reach its Vision 2030 goals building a strong, modern, and sustainable economy full of new opportunities.
