Dubai, UAE: The Fujairah Racing Team’s Boat No. 96, piloted by Italian brothers Rosario and Giuseppe Schiano di Cola, claimed a resounding victory in Race 1 of the Dubai Grand Prix, part of the fifth and final round of the 2024 UIM XCAT World Championship. Organized by the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), the thrilling competition took place along the stunning Jumeirah beaches on Friday, December 13.
Fujairah Racing Team Secures Top Spot
The team’s stellar performance earned them 35 points, bringing their overall championship tally to 250 points, further consolidating their lead in the global standings. This victory highlights their dominance in the championship as they race toward the season’s finale.
A Celebration of Marine Sports Excellence
This year’s event, held from December 13 to 15, marks the conclusion of the international powerboat racing calendar for 2024. It features 10 top-tier powerboats competing in two main races, including a Speed Race title. The event underscores Dubai’s continued dedication to establishing itself as a premier global hub for marine sports.
