Fujairah International Airport Expands Network with Direct Flights to Cairo
Fujairah International Airport announced a new partnership with Egyptair, Egypt’s national carrier, offering direct flights to Cairo starting July. This move expands travel options for passengers flying to and from the emirate.
Twice-Weekly Flights to Egypt’s Capital
The new route will operate two flights per week, on Sundays and Thursdays, catering to the growing demand for regional travel. This announcement aligns with Fujairah Airport’s broader strategy to enhance connectivity and provide a wider range of travel options for passengers.
Enhancing the Passenger Experience in Fujairah International Airport
“We are working to provide a comfortable travel experience with quick clearance procedures to improve travel to and from the emirate,” said Captain Ismail Al Balushi, Director-General of Fujairah International Airport. This focus on passenger experience complements the increased flight options.
Continued Network Expansion
The addition of Cairo comes on the heels of Fujairah Airport’s announcement last July to connect the emirate to 18 new destinations in collaboration with Oman’s SalamAir. These ongoing efforts demonstrate the airport’s commitment to establishing Fujairah as a key travel hub within the region.
