Riyadh: Football star Cristiano Ronaldo has become a new property owner at the Red Sea destination in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez now own luxury villas at Nujoomah, part of the Ritz-Carlton Reserve collection, developed by Red Sea International.

Nujoomah is one of the most private resorts in the world. It is built on a quiet island about 26 kilometers away from the mainland. Guests and owners can reach the island only by boat or seaplane, which gives them full privacy and calm surroundings. The resort has just 19 private villas, each standing alone and surrounded by white sand beaches and clear blue water.

Ronaldo said that from his first visit, he and Georgina felt a strong connection to the island. He explained that the peaceful nature and beauty of the Red Sea help them relax and enjoy time together as a family. Owning a home there now allows them to visit whenever they want, away from noise and crowds.

The Ritz-Carlton Reserve brand is very rare and can be found in only eight places around the world. These resorts are built only in special locations with natural beauty. Nujoomah is located in the heart of the Red Sea, which is becoming known worldwide for nature-friendly tourism.

Ronaldo and Georgina have been visiting the Red Sea since the first resort opened in 2023. During their stays, they enjoyed sea trips, desert activities, and peaceful family time. Their love for the area led them to buy two villas. One villa has three bedrooms for family stays, while the second has two bedrooms for quiet and private visits.

John Pagano, CEO of Red Sea International, said the company is happy to welcome Ronaldo and Georgina as homeowners. He said their choice shows how the Red Sea attracts people who want luxury, privacy, and nature in one place.

All homes at the Red Sea destination run on clean energy. The project uses only renewable power and aims to protect nature. By 2040, Red Sea International plans to improve the environment by 30 percent by caring for coral reefs, mangroves, sea grass, and local plants.

The Red Sea destination is an important part of Saudi Vision 2030. It currently has nine luxury hotels open to guests. Soon, Shura Island will become the center of the destination, with new resorts, a golf course, restaurants, shops, and cultural spaces.

The Red Sea International Airport connects the destination to major cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Dubai, Doha, and Milan. This makes it easy for visitors from around the world to reach one of Saudi Arabia’s most exclusive and peaceful tourism destinations.
