Montreal: A new milestone has been made for Saudi Arabia in the world of aviation. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Musharraf became the first Saudi, Arab, and Middle Eastern person to receive the highest international award in aviation and airport safety.

The honor was given by the United Nations’ International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Airports Council International (ACI) during a ceremony at ICAO’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada.

This achievement was made possible with the support of Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistic Services, Saleh Al-Jasser, and the close follow-up of Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).

Musharraf said this award shows the strength and talent of Saudi citizens on the global stage. He encouraged Saudi youth to keep working hard, aim high, and contribute to the growth of their country, in line with the vision of its leadership.

This historic recognition places Saudi Arabia at the front of aviation safety and highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to global standards.
