Ecuador Launches New AI Strategy at World Governments Summit in Dubai
Dubai: Ecuador launched its new Artificial Intelligence strategy at the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai. The launch happened during the New Ecuador Forum. The country shared its future plans and key reform projects with global leaders.
First, officials explained Ecuador’s new national vision. They showed how AI will help improve public services and digital systems. They also said AI will support business growth and faster government work. As a result, the country hopes to modernize many sectors.
In addition, Ecuador announced a new trade office in Dubai. The office is being opened with support from DP World. This step aims to grow trade and investment between Ecuador and the UAE. It also shows stronger business relations between the two countries.
Moreover, Ecuador signed two cooperation agreements during the forum. The agreements were signed with ADNOC Group and the UAE Accountability Authority. These deals will help increase investment and improve joint projects. They will also support long-term partnerships.
Meanwhile, several top leaders attended the event. These included Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa and UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence Omar Sultan Al Olama. Other senior officials and ministers were also present.
