Eastern Region Governor Opens New Industrial Projects in Dammam
DAMMAM, August 1, 2025 – Eastern Region Governor Prince Saud bin Naif inaugurated new industrial projects in Dammam’s industrial cities yesterday. The event was attended by Industry Minister Bandar Alkhorayef and MODON CEO Majed Al-Argoubi. The projects include a multi-story factory building with 78 small industrial units in Dammam’s First Industrial City. These modern units, ranging from 156 to 251 square meters, are designed to help small businesses grow with training and consulting services. In the Second Industrial City, 84 larger factory units (700-1,500 sqm) were opened for food, medical, and technology industries. These projects support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals for industrial growth. MODON reported that Eastern Region’s six industrial cities host over 1,850 facilities across 40 million square meters, with 89% occupancy. A new agreement was also signed to improve investment opportunities in the region.
