Dubai attracted 9.88 million international visitors between January and June 2025 a 6% increase from the same time last year, according to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.

The city remains a top travel spot thanks to its exciting attractions, safety, and new hotels like Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and Vida Dubai Mall. Visitors came mostly from Western Europe, the GCC, South Asia, and Eastern Europe.

Dubai hotels were 80.6% full on average, and tourists stayed for about 3.7 nights. The food scene also got global attention with MICHELIN-starred restaurants and awards for places like Trèsind Studio and Orfali Bros.

In April, Dubai became the first Certified Autism Destination™ in the Eastern Hemisphere and was named the world’s safest city for solo female travelers.
