Dubai Metro Services Resume Normal Operations After Temporary Disruption

Dubai: Commuters can breathe a sigh of relief as Dubai Metro Service Red Line services between Centerpoint and GGICO stations have returned to normalcy following a brief disruption due to a technical issue. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) made the announcement on Sunday morning, bringing reassurance to thousands of daily passengers.

In a twitte on X the RTA conform that Dubai Metro Services will be back to normal

“After fixing the technical glitch in Dubai Metro, the RTA confirmed smooth operation on the Red Line. Trains will bypass Energy, Equiti, Mashreq, and ONPASSIVE stations for now. The RTA swiftly deployed alternative bus services to mitigate commuter inconvenience. Additionally, a train shuttle on platform 1 assists affected passengers.

Passengers should stay updated on further RTA announcements regarding the technical issue. The RTA prioritizes Dubai’s transportation network efficiency.

Heavy rains last month led to station closures—Onpassive, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy. However, RTA assures normal operations by May 28 after completing maintenance. During this period, RTA deployed 150 buses to serve passengers between various stations. This ensures uninterrupted connectivity for commuters.”
