The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is holding its 76th Online Auction, offering a selection of 350 premium number plates for private vehicles. These exclusive plates feature a combination of three, four, and five digits, carrying codes from A to Z.

Owning a Special Plate in Dubai

Dubai’s license plate auctions consistently attract attention due to the prestige associated with owning a unique plate number.

There are a few things to consider if you’re interested in bidding:

• A 5% VAT applies to the final sale price of the plate.
• Bidders must have a valid Traffic File registered in Dubai.
• A refundable security deposit of AED 5,000, payable by cheque to the RTA, is required.
• A non-refundable participation fee of AED 120 must be paid.
