Dubai Crown Prince Meets Edge 50 Innovators at World Governments Summit 2026

Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met leading innovators during the World Governments Summit 2026 in Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan is the Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence. The meeting focused on government innovation and future solutions.
Sheikh Hamdan said the UAE grows stronger through innovation in government work. He said new ideas help improve services and make life better for people. He added that the UAE follows the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This vision supports smart government and creative solutions.
He explained that this approach made the UAE a global hub for modern government services. Many countries now look at the UAE as a model for innovation and cooperation.
During the summit, Sheikh Hamdan met experts listed in the Edge 50. The Edge 50 list includes 50 of the world’s best government innovation projects. These projects created real and useful change in different countries.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation created the list with Apolitical. The goal is to share successful ideas between governments. This helps countries learn from each other and improve faster.
The Edge 50 projects cover many sectors. These include jobs and talent development, economy, community services, city planning, health services, and infrastructure. The list also includes projects in environment, climate, law, justice, immigration, and future technology.
