Dubai Crown Prince attends graduation of 26th batch at Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College
ABU DHABI: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the 26th batch at Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College in Abu Dhabi.
During the ceremony, many senior defence officials and military leaders were also present. In addition, top commanders from the UAE Armed Forces and Ministry of Defence joined the event to support the graduates.
The program began with a formal parade by the cadets. After that, the graduates took an oath to protect the UAE and stay loyal to its leadership. They promised to defend the country’s safety and security at all times. They also confirmed their readiness to serve with courage and dedication.
Later, Sheikh Hamdan honored the top cadets for their excellent performance. He congratulated the full graduating class and wished them success in their future naval careers. He also praised their choice to serve the nation.
He explained that the UAE continues to invest in people and modern military training. As a result, the country strengthens its defence capabilities every year. He added that naval expertise is a key part of national security and future preparedness.
Meanwhile, Brigadier General Hamza Mohammed Abdullah Al Shamsi, Commandant of the Naval College, thanked Sheikh Hamdan for attending the event. He said the college is a modern training center that attracts students from around the world. Moreover, it focuses on preparing skilled national officers to protect the country and its waters.
According to him, cadets receive both classroom education and field training. They also use ship simulators and modern maritime security technology. Because of this, graduates leave fully prepared for real missions.
Finally, the ceremony closed with a group photo of Sheikh Hamdan and the graduates. He shared his best wishes and encouraged them to make the UAE proud through their service.
