DUBAI: Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced a partnership with the Institute of International Finance (IIF) to launch the inaugural Dubai Future Finance Week, set to take place in May 2026.

The announcement was made during the IIF Annual Members’ Meeting in Washington, D.C., attended by Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC; Timothy Adams, President and CEO of the IIF; and Arif Amiri, CEO of the DIFC Authority.

Essa Kazim said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to shaping the future of global finance. “DIFC and the IIF are influencing the global financial landscape through thought leadership and collaboration. Dubai Future Finance Week will bring together global leaders and innovators, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a catalyst for progressive financial services,” he noted.

As strategic knowledge partner, the IIF will provide research, insights, and host executive roundtables on regulation, emerging trends, and international opportunities. Timothy Adams said the event will deepen the IIF’s partnership with DIFC and promote innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth in global markets.

For over a decade, DIFC has served as the IIF’s regional hub for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Dubai Future Finance Week will feature a series of events across the city, attracting more than 40,000 senior leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators. The week’s flagship event, the Dubai FinTech Summit, will focus on artificial intelligence, digital assets, sustainable finance, and other emerging sectors.
