Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Crowns Winners at Crown Prince Camel Festival in Taif

Taif: The seventh edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival ended in Taif with a grand closing ceremony, held under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, crowned the winners. The final races featured 100 of the best camels competing in four exciting rounds, each covering 6 kilometers. The prize money for the festival was more than 50 million Saudi riyals.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sport, thanked the Crown Prince for his strong support of the event. He said the Crown Prince’s care shows his commitment to sports in Saudi Arabia, especially camel racing, which is a beloved tradition and part of the Kingdom’s heritage.
The minister also praised the Deputy Governor for attending the ceremony and honoring the winners, noting that the festival is a celebration for both athletes and fans of camel racing.
