Riyadh: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed former US President Donald Trump on a special tour of Diriyah, one of Saudi Arabia’s most important historical places.
The two leaders visited At-Turaif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is known as the birthplace of the Saudi state. They walked through the old buildings and streets where Saudi history began hundreds of years ago.
During the tour, they watched a traditional Saudi folk dance and took a photo together in front of Salwa Palace, which was once home to Saudi rulers. They also learned about the Diriyah Project, a major plan to turn the area into a world-famous cultural and tourist destination.
This visit showed the strong friendship between Saudi Arabia and the United States, while also shining a light on the Kingdom’s beautiful history and culture.
