ABU DHABI: Chinese solar companies took part in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026, where they showed new solar power technologies. The focus was on clean energy, better solar efficiency, and lower costs for users and investors.
The event brought together global energy leaders and companies working to support renewable energy and reduce pollution. Chinese firms used the platform to present smart solar solutions designed for homes, businesses, and large power projects.
China’s 9Sun Solar showed different ways to fix and support solar panels. These included ground systems, rooftop systems, car park covers, garage systems, and floating solar mounts used on water. The company also displayed parts such as mounting tools, ground screws, PV cables, accessories, and small portable energy storage devices.
Trinasolar also took part in the event with a wide range of clean energy solutions. Carina Liu, Head of Marketing for the Middle East and Africa, said the company is offering full energy systems, not just solar panels.
She explained that Trinasolar is showing high-efficiency solar modules, advanced energy storage systems, and smart grid solutions. These systems are made to support data centres in the UAE and Gulf countries. The company also presented tracking systems that help solar panels move and catch more sunlight, especially in hot desert areas with strong winds. Robots used for panel installation and cleaning were also on display, helping reduce manual work and costs.
Another Chinese company, AIKO, introduced its ABC solar technology. This design places electrical parts at the back of the panel, which helps capture more sunlight and produce more power. AIKO also showed monocrystalline panels and its STELLAR series, which are used in both large solar plants and smaller projects.
SUNKEAN highlighted smart connection tools for solar power systems. These included special cables that safely connect copper and aluminium parts, helping power flow smoothly from panels to inverters. The company also presented a trunk connector system that reduces the number of cables needed in large solar projects, making power delivery more stable and efficient.
Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026 continues to act as a key platform for promoting renewable energy and global cooperation in clean technology, with Chinese solar companies playing an important role in the future of sustainable power.
