Dubai, UAE: Dubai is set to host the Big 5 Global event from November 26 to 29, gathering 1,500 leaders from government and private sectors. This event, including the LiveableCitiesX, GeoWorld, and Future FM summits, will address urban development challenges and encourage collaboration across sectors.
Big 5 Global will tackle significant issues faced by cities worldwide. Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President at dmg events, explained that cities in the Global South struggle with overcrowding, while those in the North face aging infrastructure. She emphasized that collaboration across sectors is essential for building livable cities. Big 5 Global and LiveableCitiesX aim to serve as a central hub for leadership and innovation, promoting sustainable urban growth.

The urban construction market in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region is expanding rapidly, with $6.75 trillion in active projects. UAE Vision 2031 plays a major role, driving urban and economic development forward. During Big 5 Global’s Leaders’ Summit and LiveableCitiesX Summit, experts will discuss innovation, sustainability, and future urban planning.
