Baniyas leads first day of Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi

UAE: The final round of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship began on Friday at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, with Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club leading the standings.
Dozens of male and female athletes from clubs across the UAE took part in the Under-18, Adults, and Masters Gi divisions. Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club came second, and M.O.D UAE placed third.
Officials praised the high level of competition and the continued growth of jiu-jitsu in the UAE. Baniyas athlete Mohammed Al Ketbi won gold medals in the Adults under-62 kg category, bringing his total to six gold and two silver medals this season.
The championship continues Saturday with the Under-14 and Under-16 matches and ends Sunday with the Under-12 and Kids categories.
