Milestone Achievement in Aviation Maintenance
AMMROC, a leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has made history by becoming the first Sikorsky-authorized Black Hawk Blade MRO center outside the United States. This certification, awarded by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, allows AMMROC to provide Depot Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul services for Black Hawk helicopter Main Rotor and Tail Rotor Blades.
The achievement strengthens AMMROC’s position as a global leader in aerospace services, supporting the UAE Air Force, regional armed forces, and international operators.

Operating from its state-of-the-art facility at Al Ain International Airport, AMMROC serves customers across the South Asia, Middle East, and North Africa (SAMENA) region, with easy access to Europe and Asia. Certification Awarded at IDEX 2025
The official authorization certificate was presented to Jasem Al Marzooqi, CEO of AMMROC, by Dina Halvorsen, Sikorsky Black Hawk Sustainment Director, during a special ceremony at IDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi.
Marzooqi emphasized the importance of this milestone, stating:
“This certification from Sikorsky reaffirms our commitment to MRO excellence. It enhances our ability to support Black Hawk operators globally by reducing turnaround times and improving fleet availability.”
Expanding Services and Cutting-Edge Technology
AMMROC continues to expand its services with a dedicated Black Hawk sustainment zone featuring:
- Advanced repair capabilities, including X-ray, non-destructive inspection (NDI), plastic media blasting, bonding, painting, and dynamic balancing.
- The first Black Hawk Main Rotor Blade Whirl Stand outside the U.S., ensuring faster and more efficient blade maintenance.
This investment in modern aerospace technology positions AMMROC as a global center of excellence in aviation maintenance.

Future Growth and Expanded Capabilities
AMMROC has already received authorization for the first three of 49 Black Hawk Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and is working towards full authorization for its Black Hawk Rotors and Transmission shop. This expansion will enhance fleet readiness and provide comprehensive MRO solutions to its growing customer base.
