AlUla: The AlUla Languages Institute, part of the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), has started a special program called the Reviving Ancient Languages Program. The goal is to help people in AlUla learn about the old languages that were once spoken in the area and connect more deeply with their cultural roots.

The program teaches ancient languages like Aramaic, Thamudic, Dadanitic, Lihyanite, Musnad-al-Janubi, and Nabataean. There’s also a course on the history of writing.

Anyone interested can sign up through the Institute’s website: https://uli.rcu.gov.sa/languages. Registration opened on Sunday, May 4, 2025.

This program is part of RCU’s plan to help preserve AlUla’s heritage and give local people a chance to learn more about their amazing history.
