Medina: The Almadinah Book Fair 2025 has officially ended after a fun and exciting week filled with books, learning, and culture. The fair ran from July 29 to August 4 and took place in the holy city of Medina.

More than 300 publishers from Saudi Arabia and other countries joined the event. There were over 200 booths where visitors could explore and buy books on many different topics.

The event was organized by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. The head of the commission, Dr. Abdullatif Alwasel, thanked the Saudi government for supporting culture and reading. He said the fair is part of Saudi Arabia’s big dream to spread knowledge and help the publishing industry grow.

This year’s book fair was the biggest one yet. It had something for everyone—kids, teens, and adults. Visitors could attend talks, workshops, and meet authors. Many people came to enjoy these cultural events and learn new things.

There were also special places like a discounted book zone, where people could buy books for lower prices. The fair also improved its technology, making it easier for visitors to enjoy everything.

Local Saudi authors got a chance to sign their books and meet fans. Government groups and cultural organizations also showed their work and new ideas to help support Saudi culture.

People of all ages came to the fair, showing how much the community cares about books and learning. The fair helped bring people together and supported both local writers and international publishers.
