Aldar and DP World Collaborate on Massive Logistics Park in Jebel Ali

Aldar Properties and DP World have signed a strategic agreement to develop a 144,000 sqm logistics park at National Industries Park (NIP) in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The logistics park will provide Aldar access to develop and lease assets within NIP, strategically positioned near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport.

Aldar’s Logistics Park: A Catalyst for Growth

Aldar Properties is expanding its footprint in the logistics sector with a new, state-of-the-art logistics park. Targeted at third-party logistics (3PL) providers, eCommerce giants, and retailers seeking expansion or relocation opportunities, the project promises to be a game-changer.

Specifically, the Grade A and LEED-certified park will span an impressive 220,000 sqm, offering flexible unit sizes within three modular buildings. This design allows for customization to suit the diverse needs of potential tenants.

Moreover, Aldar will oversee the entire development process, from conceptualization and design to execution and management. This project constitutes a significant portion of the company’s AED1bn investment dedicated to expanding its logistics real estate footprint across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

In addition to the project’s scale and scope, the strategic location of the logistics park is a key factor. Talal Al Dhiyebi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Properties, emphasized the location’s strategic importance. Furthermore, Abdulla bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC, highlighted the partnership’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge facilities and supply-chain solutions.

The logistics park will begin construction in Q4 2024, with the first tenants set to be welcomed in Q4 2025.
