Alangari Speaks at Latin American Internal Audit Congress in El Salvador

SAN SALVADOR: Dr. Hussam Alangari, President of the General Court of Audit and Chairman of the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors, was a keynote speaker at the Latin American Congress of Internal Audit (CLAI 2025), which started on Monday, October 6, 2025, in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.
During his talk about financial information control in the public sector, Dr. Alangari explained how strong internal control helps build trust, honesty, and transparency in financial reports. He said that having clear and effective control systems is very important for improving the quality of audits and overall performance in government work.
Dr. Alangari also highlighted the need for teamwork between internal auditors and top audit institutions around the world to make sure public money is managed wisely.
His participation shows Saudi Arabia’s commitment to sharing knowledge globally and its leadership in improving auditing and control systems. The Kingdom continues to support transparency and raise professional standards in all sectors.
