DUBAI: Al Ansari Holding has given AED 10 million to support the Edge of Life campaign, which aims to save five million children from hunger around the world.

Al Ansari Holding owns Al Ansari Financial Services and Al Ansari Exchange. This donation shows the group’s strong support for people in need.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the Edge of Life campaign during Ramadan. He set a clear goal: raise at least AED 1 billion. The campaign will use this money to fund long-term projects that fight child hunger in many countries.

The campaign works under Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. It focuses on giving children healthy food and better living conditions. In addition, it encourages people and companies to join together and help.

Many children live in very poor areas. Some of them face wars, while others suffer from natural disasters. As a result, they do not get enough food. In fact, reports show that every minute, five children under the age of five die because of hunger and poor nutrition.

To make a bigger impact, the campaign partners with global charities such as UNICEF, Save the Children, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger. Together, these groups work to protect children and give them a safer future.

Mohammad Ali Al Ansari, Chairman of Al Ansari Holding, said the company feels proud to support the campaign. He explained that the UAE continues to lead global humanitarian work. Moreover, he said this donation comes as Al Ansari Exchange celebrates its 60th anniversary, which makes the moment even more special.

He also said hunger is not just about missing meals. Instead, it harms a child’s health, growth, and education. Without proper food, children cannot learn well or build a strong future.

The campaign still welcomes donations from individuals and companies. People can visit www.edgeoflife.ae or call the toll-free number 800 4999 to contribute.

Supporters can also send bank transfers through Emirates Islamic Bank using the campaign’s IBAN number. In addition, they can donate by SMS by sending the word LIFE to du or e and numbers: 1034 for AED 10, 1035 for AED 50, 1036 for AED 100, and 1038 for AED 500.

Furthermore, donors can use the DubaiNow app, YallaGive.com under the Donations tab, or Dubai’s community platform Jood.ae.

With strong community support, the campaign hopes to give millions of children the food they need and a real chance at life.
